The Types of Battles
There are three types of battle a knight or a mage may participate in: Cavalry Battles, Sea Battles, and Air Battles.
Cavalry battles are battles fought on the ground and all participates are riding some sort of earth bound creature (preferably a horse) or they are driving an earth bound chariot.
Sea Battles are fought on ships on a different board. You must join a ship’s crew or be captain of your own as well. You may be on as ship’s crews as you would like, but, as of now, there is a limit that one of your characters cannot captain multiple ships. For example, Peregrine cannot captain the Phantom and the Star Queen, but Peregrine can captain the Phantom and Will Skip can captain the Star Queen ((Will Skip is played by Peregrine)).
Air Battles are also fought on a different board, but here every participant is astride some sort of flying creature, such as a dragon.
You may participate in as many types of battle as you would like even if they are going on at the same time.
How the Battle Works.
Members from each force fight each other. Silmarils fight the Army of Terror and vice versa. (I suggest using the quotes tool frequently). You may also create separate threads for various fights if you wish, but there are no private battle threads at this time.
Battle Rules (They apply to all three types of battles)
1. Absolutely no God modeling. This includes slight things such as: Peregrine swung his fist around and hit his enemy in the face, causing him to fall over. Yes, that last part in bold is God modeling. You may hit your enemy, but you must wait for them to react. If I catch someone God modeling, I shall modify their post.
2. Silmaril Knights may not create members of the of Terror and Sceithians may not create members of the Silmaril Knights. If I see someone from either side creating any NC’s in the battle, I shall but a red GM stamp on their post, no one is to reply to their post until they modify their post.
3. You may leave and return to the battle at anytime, but other people may chase you out, trail you, etc. You may enter the battle at any time, though it is preferred that you participate in the charge.
4. Please play with characters on their own accounts. If you really must, you may play two on one account occasionally.
5. Your character may not bring more people with them into battle. For instance, Peregrine cannot bring 12 men with him into battle, if he wants those men to fight, he should make an account for each one of them and have them approved.
4. For the cavalry battles please show up in horseback, by chariot, or on another earthbound animal. You may choose to dismount or not during the battle. For air battles, please show up on a flying beast.
Thank you, enjoy the battle.
Please have each character sign here to say that they have read, understand, and agree to follow these rules.
These rules and information may be edited at any time.
