Peregrine laughed. "Alright," He said, "now to business. Today we shall be doing some exercises with our elements to further strengthen and define them." He set a small wooden bowl before her. "The first exercise is to fill the bowl with pure blood. Its a lot harder then it looks." He added.

"Can I just cut myself." Thorn says as she puts her hand over the bowl and starts to fill it slowly.

"I'm afraid its not that simple." He said, "Your element is not your blood, it a weapon and a tool that come frome deep within you. Losing your own blood would just weaken you."

"Don't worry, just dump out the real blood and summon your elemental blood from within you to replace it." Peregrine instructed. "Fo rexample." He in directed his hand towards another bowl. Fire poured from his finger tips and swirled around in the bowl, so that it looked like a firey broth.

Blood rushes through the door of the classroom " Sorry I missed the first lesson prof." Then he notices that only him Peregrine and the new girl, called Thorn, were there." Where is everybody?"
