Okay, so I hate math, I can't really understand or remember it for long and my mom has started taking the "I-will-hate-you-forever-and-make-your-life-hell-if-you-don't-finish-very-soon." Unfortunately, I don't see my math teacher until next Wednesday, and I need to make some progress.
Right now, I'm working on Solving Quadratic Equations by Graphing (lesson 9.4, Algebra I, McDougal Littell edition and not a word of their instructions is making sense to me.
So, if some kind person wants to be put up with my algebraic ignorance and walk me through this process in a language that I can understand, (English) then I'd be exceedingly grateful. But be warned, I will most probably pick your brain and ask you to repeat yourself ten million times; I'm a little ridiculously clueless when it comes to math.
Thanks,
Pip.

Can you post some of the problems and instructions? I know I've done that sort of thing, but it may help me to see it again.

I forgot about this thread and moved on in the meantime, but thanks for offering your help. I will probably post here in the future when I forget a lesson once I get home from tutoring.
