Peter walked along the water’s edge. He stopped to let the water run over his feet and to think. He seemed to be doing a lot of that, thinking. He wasn’t one to think before acting and he had no idea why he was thinking a lot nowadays. The young Alexander grabbed a rock from the ground and skipped it along the ocean’s water.
He was bored and had nothing to do; he couldn’t bother Peregrine because he couldn’t find him anywhere. Pandion was no where to be seen either and his horse, Seize, need a rest from the hard run around the forest yesterday. The boy sighed and sat in the sand. He played with another rock and then tossed it to the side.
Peter leaned back and rested his back against the sand, so that he was lying down. He looked at the sky and closed his eyes. His thoughts were of home, his annoying sisters and of Caoime. He thought of Caoime because she was like a sister to him, even though he already had four blood sisters. Caoime is always there for him and always knows when he needs help or support.
He opened his eyes and waited for someone to come, so he could have something to do. He wished for it to be someone exciting and easy to talk to. He didn’t want someone who hardly talked or someone who never stopped talking to come. He wanted them to be like Caoime.
