Violet frowned at the boy as he shrunk back. She truthfully didn't want him near her, but she really upset him, just as he made her upset. He deserved it, didn't he? She didn't know what to do or if she should feel sorry for him. She wasn't one to feel sorry for people like him. People who were peasants, lower than herself, but maybe he was different. She didn't know, she was just confused right now and didn't know what to do.
She looked at him once more as he apologized. She looked away in thought. "What you did was not alright, but I do appreciate you protecting me. I.... just wish that I didn't have to see what you did." When he became shocked about what she had said, she felt the same way about how he reacted. Yes she was a princess, but this wasn't a game, this was life. "Amri fairytales aren't real. Those things that happen in books, don't happen in real life. This is reality and you need to realize that. You killed a person, not in a book, in real life and that's not good."
Violet watched as he started to reach toward her and then drew away. She sighed slightly when a piece of his cloth landed on her lap. She looked down at it and slowly picked it up. She glanced at him and then slowly wiped the tears from her eyes, looking down once more. She couldn't keep eye contact with him, not now at least. She was still scared of him.
Still looking down, she played with his cloth that was in her hands. "I just want to go home Amri. I don't want to go anywhere, but home." She didn't just want to go home, she needed to go home, for two reasons. One, her family would worry if she didn't return, and two, because right now that was probably the only place she would feel safe.

"Oh," he said quietly. But if you weren't supposed to do what was written in fairytales, then why did people write them? Weren't fairytales what everyone wished their life could be like? He thought he was making it come true...he thought that everyone would like that, and he had just wanted to be the hero...he had never been one before, at least...not that he remembered, but he couldn't remember much of anything right now. But he felt like he had been working to become the hero...after all, he had succeeded in killing the bad guy, even if it turned out that hadn't been the right thing to do.
"But...if I hadn't killed him he would've taken you, and that's not good either, right?" he asked. It still confused him. He had just wanted to protect her, which was why he had killed the bad guy in the first place. What other options had he had? If he had just pushed him aside, he would've started chasing them, and he didn't want to make her run. He supposed he could have carried her...but now all she wanted to do was leave.
"Do you want me to take you home? I can take you, I can carry you if you're tired..." after he said that, he averted his eyes again, hoping she wouldn't talk to him in that stern voice again, it cut to his heart and made him feel like hiding a way in a dark corner. He didn't want to scare her, he only wanted to help her to the very best of his ability, even if it wouldn't be fun like it had been before. The fun playing in the fort was over, now he had to work.

Violet just stared at the boy sitting in front of her. All he had said was a simple 'oh'. She was still confused about why he was acting this way. Was it how he normally acted? Or was he truly too drunk to know what he was doing. Either way he had helped her and she owed him, but his actions went too far. He didn't have to kill that man, no matter how much he scared her.
She slightly nodded at him. "No it wouldn't have been good either, but you didn't have to kill him. It would've been better to maybe.. I don't know... beat him up or something, but not kill him." She looked down at the cloth that still lay in her hands. She held it out to him, in case he wanted it back. "I know you meant well, but you really scared me, and I'm still afraid of you." She paused for a moment, looking him in the eyes. "It will probably be awhile before I'm not afraid of you again."
Violet stood up and brushed herself off as she looked down at him. She shook her head at him as she let her arms drop to her side. "No, I should probably go home alone. If anyone saw you with me, I could get in trouble and you would probably get in trouble too, and I know you wouldn't want that. Not to mention, it would probably be best for us to.... keep our distance for a little while."
She didn't sound mean, but she also didn't sound very nice. She was still in shock because of everything that had happened in that pub. She wondered if she could ever get it off her mind. She most deffinitely hoped so. She took a deep breath and then slightly smiled at him. "It was.... nice and unbeliveably scary to meet you Amri, but I should be going."

"Okay." He registered that information in his head for later use. Beating up was better than killing. She said so, it had to be true. She wouldn't lie to him. Now he was determined to make everything better. For a moment, he thought about going back to beat up the bad guy instead, but then remembered that he had stayed quite still in two pieces. She was right, he couldn't undo what he did, and he had made a mistake. Later, he would have to punish himself that. Maybe he would hit himself on the head with Banryuu...
She said she wanted to go home alone, and that made him downcasted. He was worried she wouldn't be safe, but she had made it clear she didn't want him near her. His took his armcover back and strapped it on, feeling the wet spots where she has wiped away her tears. He didn't want her to go, but he would have to let her. What she commanded, he would obey. The only thing the hero would never obey was, 'leave me and safe yourself!' He frowned at the thought that anyone would ever do that.
But when she smiled, even only slightly at him, it made him feel better. He would see her again, he was sure, and maybe then they would play a different game. Maybe 'School' would be better. He remembered that he still had to punish himself...he would do that now..."Bye then...Violet..." He lifted Banryuu up over his head, and was about to drop it on himself when he passed out entirely, letting his halberd crash to the ground beside him, making the earth shake slightly. He was dead out, and probably wouldn't wake up for at least a day, and when he did, he would be suffering from the worst hangover in all history.
