School starts for me on Monday, August 24th and runs through probably somewhere mid-December. As of now, I only have two college classes (isn't the economy lovely?) on Mondays and Wednesdays. I will be taking Geometry and hopefully Drivers' Ed through the high school/homeschooling program that takes my records. For Geometry, I will be meeting with a tutor and I will probably be teaching myself Drivers' Ed. Anyway, back to the college classes:
I have American Government and Politics from 2:20 -- 3:40 pm Then I have college Sophomore English from 3:55 -- 5:15 pm
Believe it or not, that's it. As a "duel enrollment student" I get last pick of everything. Seeing as the economy is as bad as it is, more students are attending community colleges for at least their first two years, so you see. But on the bright side, I'm only five or six classes away from getting the modern equivalent to my Associate's Degree. W00T!
Anyway, I will probably be getting a job, too, hopefully on-campus, but here's why I am posting here. I have to carpool to school with my dad and it's a moderate commute, so unless my parents let me take the bus, I'll probably be spending the entire day at school (for Mondays and Wednesdays ONLY). Then, when I get home, there is usually some 4-H meeting going on.
I also want to get my horse back in training, once the farrier gets his butt over here *mutters* and I'm also leading a 4-H project this year. And yes, fangirls, sisters, champions and others, I will be returning to camp as a staff member this year.
What makes school different for me this year is that I discovered that my cellphone was slow, unreliable, unbelievably frustrating INTERNET ACCESS, so I will be able to come on and visit you all during the day (hopefully).
So, in conclusion, once class time, work time, homework, horse, 4-H, university visitation and travel time are added in, I won't be on as much as I have been during the summer, (obviously) but for those of you who have joined before the beginning of this summer, I will be more active than I have during past school years *knocks on wood*. Yes, it sucks that I couldn't get the classes I wanted, (not to mention the complete lack of classes in my major for me this semester) this term is going to be pleasantly light, just as the upcoming Spring term will be.
Best wishes in your own academic journeys and MAY IT RAIN SOON,
~ Pip.

Well...that really does suck xD Especially the spending the whole day at school part with nothing to do, so get a job. I know how painful it'll be otherwise. AND I'LL MISS YOU! *squeal like a fangirl, hugs, walks away in tears* (xD)
