Pandion trained, this is what the teenager did. This is the only way to spend his time in an effective manner. When he was not doing this he was at parties persuading nobles to back him later on in political affairs. He stretched lightly as he looked to his band of knights. "So is there any word from my messenger sent to Aberdeen. I hope he is alright, you know how rowdy those bandits can get." Pandion spoke of the man he had sent to the fleet town to talk to a Noble about a ball the lord was going to host later in the month. Pandion wanted to inform him personally that he would not be attending but he did not have the time nor would it look good on him to go there to say something that a messenger could say for him. He had no other need to talk to the noble from Aberdeen.
"Lord Thomas has replied with a long and lengthy letter about how he regrets your decision, though he wishes you well many times throughout his letter." Sir Denson muttered rather sarcastic. Pandion smirked. "Dear knight, You could have told me earlier that the messenger had already delivered his message. " Pandion spoke with a rather cold tone but he retained his smile and the gleam in his eyes showed that he was being entertained by all of this. "I am sorry my prince, I merely did not thing you would assume the messenger failed in his duty... Why did you worry about the commoner?" The knight asked. "Hes also... My friend, I do not wish to see harm come to him." The knights merely laughed at this and Pandion turned his back on them.
"Oh... You were not joking my lord?" One of them asked.
"No, I was not." Pandion replied. "I have very few true friends in this castle." One of the knights seemed slightly shocked by this. "My lord, we are your friends." He replied. " You are all over the age of 20, I meant friends my age." Pandion replied before walking away from them. "Leave me, I wish not to walk with men who laugh at me for my youth." He spoke coldly. "My lord, we meant nothing by it." The knight's voice shown sadness.
Pandion truly was alone.
This was his burden. Even the friends he did have, were either to old to understand him or a commoner. He hated being limited to being friends with commoners, but that was life. He would have to be more careful with his words, he lost his knights respect by being so childish. At least he managed to earn some of it back by leaving them and not allowing them to laugh at him. Perhaps he should have executed them. Yet that would require more heart then he had. He was just to soft.
He wondered where his brother was at the time.
He had not seen him for days and though he was now begining to lose his fondness of the man. He still respects him. He likes him less though because the man seems to hate him. He is no longer a pup of youth, hes as large as his brother and though not as fast, or as good at swordplay he still believes himself to be a formidable foe even for peregrine. He looked off into the sky, his eyes glowed from the light.
