``SHAY ADELE KELLY
I, I, I wanna break free from these walls and say goodbye, eye, eye to the feelings that I've known before. I try, y, y, to fight back the urge the urge to hide a way and let it, let it, let it open my eyes to the other side
The christened me Anna and I’ve fought through fifteen summers. They say I’m competitive, bright and intense and I’m not planning to change any time soon. I read carefully and I have found that the magic words are admin edit. Many masks hang upon my castle wall, but I hide behind Shay Adele Kelly and I’ve been playing this game of Risk for one year and people say I’m d*** good at it.

FAMILY>> Shay's parents married young had her when they were even younger than she is. She grew up close to both of them, but especially to her father. Her mother loves her to pieces but has more of an older-sister relationship with her, so when she was growing up she depended very heavily upon her father as a parental figure. Throughout her childhood, for the most part her parents remained the Romeo-and-Juliet couple they had been when they were younger, but she got to witness them growing up quite a bit. When Shay was two her father's job started taking him all over for trading oppurtunities. Sometimes he brought her with him until she had to stay home to study seriously. Her parents had two more children when Shay was thirteen, and she has half-filled her father's place when he's away.

TOMBOY STUBBORN SWEET VIBRANT SARCASTIC
FULL PERSONALITY>> Some people have many-sided personalities, or one-sided ones, but Shay's has two distinct sides. Her dominant personality is sarcastic, tomboyish, stubborn and in complete disregard of any rules she considers 'unuseful'. She's not afraid to speak her mind and *just* once in a while it can get her into trouble.
The other side of her is just as tomboyish and rule-ignorant, but pretty sweet and affectionate at the same time. She's not outgoing or loud--not much, anyway--but she's vibrant and bright and hard not to notice. The two sides of her personality blend together most of the time, and you'll rarely catch her acting on just one of them. Sweetness creeps into her sarcasm, and while she's always a tomboy she's incredibly affectionate and loving toward her friends. Her willingness to give in to anyone varies depending on how stubborn and sardonic she's feeling that day, but generally you'll have a tough time getting her to change her mind on...well, anything.
Strengths >>
- Athletic
- Excellent at solving practical problems

Her Elven blood shows a bit in her slim, athletic frame and in her ears, which are slightly pointed at the top. Most people tell her she looks younger than seventeen.

Clothing[/color]>>
[/blockquote] [/blockquote] [/blockquote] Shay isn't into fancy clothes--she usually wears plain white or dark blue skirts down to her knees and slightly ill-fitting white blouses. She has two cloaks, a warm dark blue one and a lighter cotton one in a purple-y gray. She has some nice shoes, but prefers to wear her brown lace-up boots.

FULL HISTORY>> Shay was born eight months, to the day, after her parents' wedding, making her both illegitimate and somewhat within the rules. She has actually always loved knowing that--that she came into the world bending the rules, but only out of love. She was her parents' whirlwind adventure of a kid, and it's actually surprising that she managed to escape her childhood with minimal damage. It wasn't that her parents didn't love her--she always knew that they both adored her--but they knew absolutely nothing about raising a child. Her childhood was an adventure for all three of them, as they grew up alongside her. From the start, her mother was the one who played with her and seized the moment and had fun. Her father was the one who protected her and gave her a sense of values.
When she was two her father's job as a merchant started taking him all over the continent. For four years he brought her along on almost every trip, hanging onto him behind him on the horse, traveling places most girls her age had never gotten to see. She loved it, but when she turned six she started her education and had to remain home. After that he brought her on only a few trips a year, then less and less as she grew older. But he wrote her letters wherever he went, and when he came home he'd tell her about everything she wanted to know.
When she was twelve, and her parents only in their twenties, her parents decided they wanted another chance at having children. They got two, a boy and a girl, and the twins threw their lives into complete chaos while still managing to make them all smile. Shay's father stayed home for several months until Shay and her mother could manage on their own, and then he started traveling again. Shay and her mother both took on the roles of parents in raising the twins.
Shay had always had more boys for friends than girls, and her best friend since childhood was a boy named Laurent. They had been formally "together" since she was thirteen and he was fifteen, although she can't remember a time when she didn't idolize him. Now that she's coming up on turning seventeen, not to mention the fact that she's shown she would make an excellent mother, she and Laurent are both well aware that the issue of marriage may be coming up soon--which would bring a husband, children, a whole new life. The fact is, Shay is still something of a kid herself. It's not that she doesn't like the idea of marrying Teddy, but she wants time to make sure that's what she really wants before she goes settling down. Now, rereading the letters her father has sent her for years, she's following the footsteps of the journey he's taken over the past two years--it's been that long since he was last home. She's not sure where he is now. Shay wants to make sure there's not something she's missing before she goes tying herself to Laurent, although the fact is she's already tied to him...maybe more than she knows.
Laurent won't be a part of her story on here; she's left home and won't be in contact with him, except for possibly writing him the occasional letter. If he becomes a major character, I'll put him up as a canon.

Role Playing Sample>> A bright light above her pulled Sophie out of her deep sleep. She yawned, stretched, a thousand thoughts running through her mind. I have to remind Gabe that I have an extra dance rehearsal tonight...there's a test in Calc today...I need to watch my PE shorts...she stretched her arms above her head, and they collided with the arm of the couch.
The arm of the couch? What the...the realizations came to her in bits and pieces, each spurt of memory carrying more pain than the time she'd broken four ribs falling off the roof, and leaving her gasping just as hard. There is no more dance class. Gabe is dead. I'm not going to Calc today. I was kidnapped...I don't have my PE shorts! She glanced down at herself. As far as she knew, the only clothes she had left were the jeans, patchwork blouse and jacket she wore along with her blue-and-white sneakers. Forget clothes. She didn't have anything! No food, no toothbrush, no hairbrush, no water, no toothpaste, no...oh, great. What exactly is going on here, anyway?
