HISTORY:
Back in Arabia, a small farming village was attacked by a band of rogue nomadic warriors. One of the men, whose name was never learned, entered the recently engaged Zamira Amatzya's small, two-room house, and raped her. Of course he left and was never heard from again. Zamira was completely disgraced and her fiancee disowned her. Nine months later, she gave birth to a son. She didn't even ask to hold him, and let the midwife name him. He was given the name Amri Ban Amatzya. Zamira screamed when she saw him, though, for he had deep blue eyes even though he was full Arabian. Everyone started calling him the Blue-Eyed Curse.
Amri was ostracized by the children of the village, but he didn't really care. Rather than playing, he spent his time trying to get strong, for he knew that his father must have been strong. His mother simply ignored him and let him do whatever he wanted, she couldn't have cared less. However, she did try to keep him alive, and made sure he had a roof over his head, and reprimanded him whenever he beat up someone, but he took no heed to this.
When Amri turned seven, Zamira has had enough, and so she committed suicide. She was given a funeral that Amri did not attend. None of the village women wanted to take him in, so he was shooed away from the village he had grown up in. He went from village to town to city pushing himself to get as strong as possible and doing anything to stay alive. The name the Blue-Eyed Curse followed him, as long with names such as demon or messenger of the devil. He stole everything he needed, but instead of being called a street rat, he was called a street eagle, for he never ran. He instead fought all the people he stole from and got even stronger. Strength and training became like a drug to him, and 24/7 he was doing something to get better.
When he turned eleven, he met a girl named Malika, who was ten at the time. He was completely begotten by her odd and quirky ways, patient enough even to learn the language of flowers from her. But since he couldn't stay in any one place too long, he had to leave her, but he didn't do so before promising that he would eventually come back and marry her.
At the age of twelve, Amri killed his first person, and he realized just how much he loved it and how strong it made him, and he wanted more and more. The idea came to him that he could be a mercenary, using his strength and skill and getting paid for it seemed perfect. He got lots of work and sucked it all in, reveling in each life he took.
A year later, he decided he could go back to Malika, but when he went to her house, what he found was that she was dead, killed by a stranger he still doesn't know who wanted to get revenge on him. Amri was heartbroken, but he hid it. This was when he started drinking, a horrible habit that has stuck with him to this day. It was also the result of this that he had crafted a horrible weapon made just for him, a huge sword that was bigger than his own body. At first, he could only just lift it, but now he can swing it with ease and bring death to anyone who meets it.
He killed more people, fought more battles, and traveled to even more places. All he wants is to become the strongest man in the world, and this was how he came to be hired in Sceith. Duty calls.

GENERAL PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION:
Amri, at heart, will always be a warrior. His single ambition is to become the world's strongest man, and he has a pretty good start. Although his service is currently hired by Sceith, he owes his loyalties to no one country. However, he is extremely loyal to the ones he calls his comrades, and would die for them.
He loves to kill, and finds excitement in battle, but otherwise, he has a childlike humor and innocence about him. He is very brave and courageous, and hates it when he is not treated like a threat. He doesn't have any education, and is rather dumb, which is why he wither avoids situations that require intelligence or relies on someone else. But, being smart is not to be mistaken with common sense, of which he has plenty, and he also notices things more than he lets on.
Confidence and pride easily mark him, and for good reason. He has never lost a battle, nor does he think he will anytime soon. He believes that there is no afterlife, so he will enjoy this life as much as he can. That taken into consideration, he drinks lots of alcohol, despite his age.
BITS AND PIECES
Strengths
1.) Extremely strong - This guy has spent his life doing one thing, and that is making himself stronger. It's pretty much all he cares about, and his effort has paid out, he is easily one of the strongest people in the world
2.) Superb fighter - It would be a pity if he had so much strength and it all went to waste. He knows how to fight with and without weapons, single combat or against a band of thugs. Give him an opponent and he'll come out alive
3.) Courageous - He's not scared of new things, in fact, barely anything scares him, even things that should
4.) Hypersensitive Feet - He has mastered a technique that some Arabic nomads practice, feeling people coming through the ground. As such, it's very difficult to sneak up on him. Unfortunately he does have the side affects. His feet are extremely sensitive and he does not like anything touching them and they often irritate him.
5.) Loyal - Well, sort of. He's not loyal to his employers, but nothing comes between him and the few people he considers his comrades. A friend of his is very lucky indeed for Amri will defend them to the death, and should the worst happen, he will put avenging them as his first priority.

FLAWS
Bloodthirsty/Violent: He really has no problem with killing people. He doesn't think it's wrong at all, it's just something that people should expect. If he wants to kill someone, he will, don't think such petty things as "morals" are going to stop him. It's really the only way he knows how to solve his problems. Talking it out has never even occurred to him.
Arrogant/Egotistical/Self-Centered: Amri thinks he's the best thing since chain mail to put it so bluntly. After all, he's absolutely amazing and people should bow down at his feet, right?
Overly Confident: He thinks absolutely nothing can touch him, who would even dare? Who cares if you're surrounded by guards, he's still going to pick a fight. Oh, you say you're the most powerful king around? With armies wrapped around your finger? He still doesn't appreciate being called short so he's still going to try and get you to mind your manners.
Directionally Challenged: Dude, this guy can't get anywhere without getting lost. He doesn't even know that the sun sets in the west and rises in the east.
Stupid: Having no education causes some things, like not being able to read and not being able to count to ten. He can't name half the places he's been to, and to perfectly blunt, doesn't know s***. You could tell him things don't always fall down if you drop them and he wouldn't blink.
Discriminatory: It would take forever to list the kind of people that Amri hates, and he is not too kind to those he does. Hell, even if you're the type of personality he likes he will cast you away if you're not human, for example.
Alcoholic: Amri relies on a constant supply of liquor to keep his life together. And he never just has a couple of drinks, he gets completely dead drunk every time. He can't really control himself or his actions when he's drunk, and he gets really terrible headaches the day after.
Unforgiving: One warning and that's it. If you betray his trust he won't listen to your explanations, you've lost him as a friend forever, and perhaps even your life.
Insecure: Though he always tries to hide it, he never thinks he's good enough which is why he always tries to get stronger. He is simply never satisfied with life and is never really happy, because he can't let himself be happy when he could use that time to train. Tied in with this is he's a bit paranoid that someone's always trying to kill him, and so he always has to keep his guard up, even when it's just a waste of his energy.
Bottles Up Emotions: Amri hides all his feelings that he thinks make him seem weak, like sadness. It makes him one angry thunderstorm inside and he often gets chronic stomachaches, and the only way he knows how to release this is to kill someone or bang his head against something, hard.
Possessive: Things that are his are HIS, even some things that aren't his are HIS. He will stop at nothing to get back what is HIS, even if it sometimes might not be worth it.
Autistic: Although Amri is just plain stupid, he is also completely incapable of learning anything. He cannot make even simple connections in his head. Mixed with this is moderate OCD to deal with this and extreme dyslexia.
GENERAL APPEARANCE DESCRIPTION
Amri is quite an attractive young man, though it doesn't really matter to him and he couldn't care less. One thing very noticeable about him is his coal black hair, which he hasn't cut his whole life, so it is very long, going a little bit past his waist. It is generally braided in a single braid that goes down his back, rarely is his hair seen down. Long, spiky bangs just touch his eyes, which a shaped like a cat's and are an intense, deep, dark blue. Below his eyes are his high cheekbones that lead into a softly-curved chin.
Amri was born in Arabia, and therefore has dark tan skin that covers his very well muscled body. There is really not an inch on him that isn't hard from muscle. He has one gruesome scar on his left side from a knife wound that got infected and there are numerous other, smaller scars.
What Amri hates most about himself is his height. He is a measly five foot four, making him shorter than most of his opponents. He makes up for this by being 200 pounds, all muscle. He carries himself very highly and walks with a strut.
CLOTHING:
He really wears whatever fits his fancy, preferring colors of blue and white, and he is always wearing armor over his chest. He also never wears shoes.
SOCIAL
Amri treats no two people the same way as long as he gets to know them, which, consequently, doesn't happen often. If he doesn't know a person at all, they are put into one of two categories: Strong or weak. If they are put into weak, he will leave them fairly alone unless he is under orders, in which case he will slaughter them without a second thought. If someone is put into the category of strong, he will fight them, because it is his wish to become as strong as he can, and he believes heavily, that "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger."
However, if you are lucky enough to be part of the small group of people that he actually likes, you have earned yourself a powerful and loyal friend. Though he is very blunt and demands respect, he would sacrifice anything for those he cares about. If he is just hanging out, he is fairly happy-go-lucky and laid-back, with a child-like sense of humor (mixed in with some dark humor, seeing as he DOES kill people). He will protect and keep any promises to those he considers are on his good side.
If you have the misfortune to get on his bad side, be afraid, be very, very afraid. Amri does not like to be trifled with, and rather than going to all the trouble to put up with someone who irritates him, he usually just simply kills them. It's not smart to insult him unless you can run very, very fast, or can fly, that'd be preferable. Did I mention he holds grudges? Why yes, if you do something to him, do not expect him to be kind to you if you managed to get away the first time. Wear a disguise. A good one.

OTHER
It was Amri's father who killed Malika, might have a plot with this later. And he has a letter from her that he keeps tucked in his sash/obi that he can't read because, well, he can't read.
ROLE PLAYING SAMPLE:
He was pleased, no, more than pleased, he was satisfied. Something about walking undisturbed on "enemy" territory just felt good to him. As such, his signature smirk was on his face, raising his lips only slightly to reveal dazzling white teeth. He looked very confident, and the simple reason for that was that he was. Even if he didn't have an enormous halberd that was larger than his own body resting on his shoulder, he knew he could beat anyone with the power of his fists alone. After all, it would normally take three strong men to lift his companion, commonly called Banryuu, yet he could pick it up with one hand, either one of them. He had plenty of reason to be egotistical.
Of course, one might ask why he was here. Other than he need for some alcohol, which he always wanted in spite of his age, he felt rather out of practice. How long had it been since his last kill? Nearly a week! Much too long for his comfort, and that person hadn't even been strong, wasn't a challenge. He desired the rush, the adrenaline, the excitement of mortal combat, one thing that had been his companion even before Banryuu came into the picture. He still remembered his first victim clearly. He considered it one of his happiest memories, the joy, and power he had discovered from growing stronger, from proving to the world that he could protect something if the need ever arose...
Angrily, he shoved that thought aside. Lately, in the back of his mind, something was telling him that he didn't kill for pleasure, but that he killed so that he could prove he could protect something. What that something was he had no idea, but the thought disgusted him. All he needed was the taste of battle and drink, and he'd be a happy man for all of his years.
Then he saw them...just standing...how stupid of them. What kind of people just stood there? Didn't they know that during the day the monster under their bed came out and walked among the people? That it's name was Amri Ban Amatzya? He smiled to himself his own devilish smile, one that deserved a class of its own. The predator had found his prey, but how would be play with it?
He took Banryuu off his shoulder and spun the over-sized blade in one strong hand. He was like an insane kid in his own warped version of a candystore.
"Didn't your mother tell you to run away when dark strangers come up to you?" he asked, chuckling slightly as he rose his head to reveal his face, "Of course, I wouldn't know, which I suppose is why I became that stranger. You should start running, it makes it more exciting."
