Canon Name: Pearl Lina Alexander RP sample AS THE CANON CHARACTER:She put a hesitant and testing foot forward, crying out slightly as the cold air rushed past her. Whoever said that fresh air did you good was obviously poor and just trying to make the best of their situation. In this type of weather? They had to be crazy! She pulled her fur coat closer as she dubiously looked out the door and took a deep breath, before taking a plunge into the cold. After all, she didn’t want to look pale and sickly.
Once she got past the fact that it was freezing, it was quite nice, but still, couldn’t her father get some magician to change it or something? It couldn’t be that hard. Or perhaps they could move their kingdom to a place it was warmer. As long she didn’t have to wrap up so much she looked huge, she actually liked going outside, but unfortunately, it was rather rare.
Sighing, she sat down on a stone bench in the courtyard and gazed upwards as the light grey sky. It had been pretty boring, sitting in her room all day. Her twin was spending all of her time with someone else, and while Gwendolyn was a darling whom she loved to pamper, she was too young to really talk to. And her brothers always seemed to be busy with training or sparring or public relations or whatever they did all day. She huffed slightly. Make no mistake, she loved her twin, but now it seemed they weren’t as closed as they used to be. Whenever they were talking all she could talk about was Colby and she never asked Pearl anything. She was just supposed to listen as she gushed. Well, no worries, she had a plan. Either she would get her sister back or she would get the prince for herself, either worked.
She made a slight ‘ah’ sound as she lifted herself from the bench and smoothed out any wrinkles in her dress. She had just thought of something, something that would help when she caught eye of a servant. She hurried over to the girl in her twenty-somethings and smiled prettily at her. She wanted something, and as long as the servant didn’t refuse, there was no need to be vulgar.
“Do you know how to cook?” she asked, cocking her head slightly and blinking once.
She looked somewhat scared, but nodded. Pearl smiled harder at her.
“Don’t worry. You’re going to teach me and we can be friends.”
Pearl took the girls arm and looped it with her own, though inside she shuddered slightly, wondering where those arms had been, “I want to know how to cook a really hearty meal.”
She smiled again, only this time it was more sly. She hoped that the person who said the fastest way to a man’s heart was through his stomach knew what they were talking about more than the person who said that fresh air was good.

Canon Name: Peter Alexander RP sample AS THE CANON CHARACTER:So far Peter had had a very bad day. He’d woken up that morning in a good mood, convinced that today would be a good day. He’d decided to go out riding, taking two guards with him as he went to ride through a few towns of Saor, to greet his loyal subjects. Of course, Peter was more than confident in his ability to protect himself, but he didn’t particularly want to get his hands dirty should some filthy peasant decide to try and cause him harm. He was, after all, a prince, and it wouldn’t be uncommon for someone to try to take him hostage for ransom to get more money themselves. People were just greedy that way, never happy with what they had.
However, while his ride had started off very pleasant, with several people bowing to him on the street yet for the most part leaving him in peace, something was bound to happen to ruin his mood. Something always happened to ruin his good mood, it seemed.
An elderly woman, perhaps quite beautiful in her youth and yet now a grotesque human being in Peter’s eyes, stumbled out in front of his horse, forcing him to come to a stop, despite how much he would have liked to just trample her. “Would you spare some coins, young man?” The woman asked him and Peter couldn’t help the grimace from coming to his face. “I’m afraid I have none on me, peasant woman.” Peter replied. He was quite proud of himself for not demanding that she call him by ‘His Royal Highness’, and not insisting that she curtsy to him. Of course, Peter was lying when he said that he had no money on him. He was a prince, he wouldn’t be caught dead without money on him. What if he saw something that took his fancy, after all?
The elderly woman seemed to be offended by his words, though Peter had no idea why. He’d been quite polite, considering how rudely she had spoken to him. She began to shout curses at him and one of his guards had had to escort her away. Through her shouts and foul language, Peter had just sat there and given her an unimpressed stare, practically radiating that he thought she was beneath him. Because she was, of course.
Finally, as the woman settled down and was lead away, Peter turned to his remaining guard. “How crude. Peasants these days. They really must learn their place.” He said with disdain, and his guard nodded loyally.
