A young girl looked around. She had pale skin and long, flowing black hair. Her bangs almost covered her pretty yellow-green eyes. She was wearing a short plack dress with white frills at the top. Over it she had an almost transparent covering that seemed to supposed to go on her shoulders, but instead fell to her elbows. She wore long black socks and black nurse shoes. Two black cat ears stuck out behind her bangs, a black cat tail poking out the bottom of her dress. She also wore a loose red ribbon around her neck, with a bell attached. She seemed lost.

A youth on a black horse aproached the girl standing by the steps of the castle. In the fading evening light, he could just make our her face. It held an expression of innocence and kindness, though now it sported an expression like to that of a lost child. He rode up and halted a few yards behind her.
"Greetings," He said, speaking in a loud voice, "may I help you find anything?"

Kitty jumped at the sound of someone else's voice. She then noticed the boy. "Oh, uh, yes sir. I was just, umm.. looking for the Institute? I was.... told. Told to enroll there." Her voice was soft and sweet. It seemed that she hadn't talked for a long time.

Peregrine nodded as comprehension instandly dawned in his emerald-green eyes.
"Ah, yes, right this way." He said, dismounting from Vollo and leading him up the steps, which he pranced up, "Into the castle."

Kitty nodded, walking beside Peregrine. "Uh, thank you sir." She pulled the shoulder of her covering up to her own shoulder, only to have it fall back down to her elbow again. As she pranced up the stairs, the bell around her neck jingled.
((-points to bell- Ask? xP))

"You don't have to call me sir." Peregrine told her kindly. Then he paused for a minute before pointing to the bell around the girl's neck, wondering if it would be polite to ask her why she wore it.
"Why, if you don't mind me asking, do you wear that bell?" He inquired.

"Oh, I'm afraid I can't do that, sir. I was raised to call all men that." She then looked at her bell. The bell that had cause her so much grief, yet had let her keep holding on to the fact that the person who gave it to her had a quiet death, oh so many years ago.
"Well sir, this bell was, a gift. A gift from my older sister, Bunny. I hold it very dear to me, for she is not of this earth anymore."

Peregrine laughed good naturedly. "Then you need not address me as sir, because I am not yet a man." He said, the laughter dancing in his eyes. He listened to her explaination about the bell still smiling until she got she said the name 'Bunny'. The good natured smile slid off his face.
"Bunny?" He asked, slowly. "May I inquire as to your name?"

Kitty was shocked by her inquiry. He must've known somebody named Bunny, but it certainly wasn't her sister. She had died about 200 years ago, who knows at what age? In her little corner of hell, Kitty did not know anything about her sister and her death, except for the things she knew before the crash.
"I am Kitty, Kitty Trae s-" She stopped before she said 'sir'.

A look of relief washed over Peregrine's face.
"Oh, just checking." he said evasively, but then he decided to get a little more specific.
"You don't know anyone who goes by the name of Bunny Redbone, by any chance?"

"Oh, uh, no, sir. Only my sister, Bunny Trae. She was a rabbit morph." She then noticed that she called him 'sir' again. "I can't not call you sir, I do not know your name."

"I am Peregrine Alexander." Peregrine replied, "But you may call me Pippin or Pip if you would like."

"Okay, Peregrine," she said, dipping her head. She had nothing else to say. There had been no more questions about her sister, and her throat was sore from not talking for about 200 years anyway.
((Oh come on! Nothing about 'rabbit morph'. I'm disappointed in you, Peregrine. xD))

((? What should I ask her?))
Peregrine attempted to continue his conversation. "So," he said looking around for a suitable topic, "do you have an alternate form yet?"

Kat twitched her ears. "Mmhmm. All of us half morphs can turn into our animal at an early age." With that, she quickly morphed into a small, lithe black cat, along with the bow and bell. She then morphed right back into her human form, no effort at all.
((Bunny is a rabbit-morph. He knows that! He should be like.... Peregrine then noticed that she had said 'rabbit morph'. Then say something out loud! xD))
