Carolina rode her horse, Requim, at a light trot riding through the forest at midnight. She heard something scamper to the right, a rustle of leaves on the left. None of this worried her.... she wasn't afraid of the dark. But to keep her mood calm she started singing a song from her home back in spain. "Gracias a la vida que me ha dado tanto. Me dio dos luceros, que cuando los abro, Perfecto distingo lo negro del blanco Y en el alto cielo su fondo estrellado Y en las multitudes el hombre que yo amo"

Carolina halted her horse and returned the bow by nodding her head. "An honour Senor Cassidy", she replied. Her accent was thick and spanish. "I am Carolina Bonchella". "señor de thankyou", she said when it registered that he had complimented her singing. "Oh.... im sorry. You are not spanish no?"

"Thankyou senor", Carolina said graciously. She dismounted from Requim gracefully and smiled. "Are you able to sing senor?" she asked curiously. She had heard herself singing so many times that it was nothing special to her. She liked listening to the voices of others.

"No, If i started singing it would sound like a wounded bull. Ive tried and it dosent sound to well." Armond remembered the day he had to sing the blood ritual and kill a slave they captured. He shook it from his mind and spoke. "My kind of singing is bad and I wish to never sing it agian."

Carolina smiled with a small chuckle. "Then I guess I will have to keep singing", she joked. "If you are that bad". The next verse of the song popped into her head and Carolina couldn't help but sing it. "Gracias a la vida que me ha dado tanto. Me ha dado el oÃdo que en todo su ancho Graba noche y dÃa, grillos y canarios, Martillos, turbinas, ladridos, chubascos, Y la voz tan tierna de mi bien amado"

Carolina blushed. "I keep forgetting that you are not spanish", she laughed. "Forgive me". Then she started singing the same to verses in english for him. "Thanks to the life that has given so much me. It gave two luceros me, that when I open them, Perfect I distinguish the black of the target And in the high sky its starred bottom And in the multitudes the man who I love.
Thanks to the life that has given so much me. It has given oÃdo me that in all its wide one It records night and dÃa, crickets and canaries, Hammers, turbines, barks, showers, And the so tender voice of my loved good."

Armond just stood there listening lost in the song. Rembering his home land, He wished his honeland had songs like hers at least then they wouldnt be so violent like his people. All his people sang was songs to please the blood god.
"That was amazing. Your very good at what you do. How long have you been singing."

"All my life", Carolina answered. "Well..... since I was three at the earliest". She pulled a sugar cube from her pocket and gave it to Requim. "My mother caught it to me".
