Hilt:

The hilt is a Yew tree wrapped around a solid peice of Iron. The guard is pure gold along with the circular end. On the guard is some markings in Norse.

Scabbard:

The scabbard for special events(the Royal Courts, Weddings, Knighting, etc) is diamond encrusted and solid mithirl, The diamonds are in the center making the Military Order of Santiago emblem. For battle the scabbard is oxen hide with the Military Order of Santiago emblem in the middle

On the guard the words "The máttur af thorax fjárveiting the Fara með af this sverð the máttur af vitneskja." are inscribed. Axel hopes to learn more about this language.
