k, guys I know this is controversial so that's why I want to know who you guys support. Obama? Or Mccain? Why do you support them! Back it up with evidence and proof.*
I for one support Mccain. He has tons of military experience and doesn't plan to drain the money from small business's. The truth is if obama draws more tax from small business's and large business's they will either A.) Raise the price of their product or B.) Move out of country and export their goods to America.

I am for Obama all the way. Not meaning to be rude, but I WILL cry if McCain wins.
On your points:
1.) Military experience is not political experience. He was a POW and survived, which is good, but that was it. He wasn't really the 'war hero' everyone makes him out to be. He didn't proactively do things to help other people. He just survived. 2.) Actually...no, he isn't raising taxes on small businesses. He's raising taxes on companies that make over 250,000, and, oh yeah, he's going to stop oversea deployment and make it against the law.
Obama's healthcare plan is a lot more reliable, he sees promise in wind and solar, unlike McCain who just wants to use nuclear power, and of course, 'Drill, baby, drill.' Obama isn't going to raise taxes for, I think it was 95% of Americans, and he's going to END THE d*** WAR, instead of pretending that we are winning and letting General Portayas (Sp?) deal with it.

Hes raising taxs on everyone who makes over 250,000 per year. This will create inflation and unemployment. Not to mention lots of companies will just pack up go out of the country and sell to us through exports at higher prices. (This happens already quite a bit.) Mccain did quite a bit in his posistion as a pow. For example they told him he could leave... yet he stayed. He stayed when they offered him freedom. He was beaten half to death for his decision to stay there with his unit. His brothers. Obama speaks to the terrorist that plagues us. Why is that? Why is it obama refused to respect the flag? that which represents freedom. The red on the flag represents the blood of all the soldiers who died for freedom and he spits in their face by not paying his allegiance to this country. ^^^^ cayankee.blogs.com/cayankee/2007/10/obama-disrespec.htmlPerhaps Im wrong to endorse mccain but I'm going into the army myself in only a year. (They are paying my way through college. and making me a officer.) I understand what it takes to live through basic training and live through the hell that is war. Mccains decision to stay shows that he is proficient . Is a plumber a rich man? He told a plumber during a speech that he was going to raise his taxes and spread the wealth. Hope you guys aren't as rich as your average plumbers, lest your taxes will also be raised. elections.foxnews.com/2008/10/13/obama-plumber-plan-spread-wealth/

Okay, let me get this straight, i just read that article. So you are criticising Obama for wanting to spread wealth around to make people equal in wealth?

Truth be told we have very little wealth to spread. Mass companies that export to us are over seas. The other companies here in america are going bankrupt. How much can our government take from them before they either leave or die. That means a loss in jobs. So yes temporarily spreading the wealth would help, but in the long run... It would eat all our jobs up completely. Unemployment would skyrocket.
And the plumber complained later on that obama was planning to raise his taxes... exactly how much money does a plumber make?

No, I dont side with bush. I disagree with everything he has done in office completely. Mccain is much different. Mccain is a fellow soldier. He isnt someone who has lived the rich life all of his life. He knows what its like to be poor and he knows what its like to go through hardship. Bush never felt that feeling. Bush was a horrible president but comparing him to Mccain just cause they both are from the republican party is absolutely wrong.

It's kind of easy to compare them when they've agreed on issues 90% of the time.

well, I personally would rather that neither of them were put in office - but then, my priorites and ideals are a little high-minded for the whole world (Let's see: no cars, everything solar-powered, no war, everyone has food, clothes, a home, the works, the whole world is just one big ol' community that shares and takes care of each other; need I go on?)
My mother and father are both going to support Obama (if support is the word) - my father actually favored someone (I cannot remember his name. I'll ask him tomorrow) else.
I, personally, believe that neither McCain, nor Obama are truly the men for the job. From what I've seen, read, and heard about McCain, gives me bad vibes. Obama is rather young, and he doesn't seem to have the same experiances as McCain.
Actually, the term that my father used for both of them, of which I agree with to some extent, is that the both of the men are warhawks.
*shrugs* yeah, my opinion is kinda vague - but I have trouble putting my feelings to words, and doing them justice hasn't yet been done...

I understand what you mean. Neither of the candidates really have the "Everything I want" package, but I definitely know that Obama is closer. The candidate that I REALLY liked was Dennis Kucinich. (You should look him up, you will be amazed.)

Wow this Dennis guy is actually incredible, why the hell is he not is the main run? I love this man already. Especially his plan for Iraq. He is PERFECT for the job. He believes that every human is equal and he is anti-war, anti-gun. *heaadesk* en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Dennis_Kucinich.jpgThe only problem with him is that he looks like an elf, what the hell happened there. Did his parents make him in a Warcraft Game

I know, Dennis Kucinich is AWESOME! However, lots of people think he's too radical, in other words, "Too good to be true." *Mutters about annoying peoples*

I think this is the guy my dad supported!
Meh likes him all on my own, too. Man, he's for organic farming and family farms - and he does not support conventional farming! (Don't get me started on the virtues of organic, becuase I have a mother who works for Organic Valley // CROPP, and know ALL about it - not to mention I'm what is gentlely referred to as "long-winded"...)
And yeah, he kinda does look like an elf....oh well, its not like he's Bigears (like Bush is)....

Its a decent plan. Unfortante his pr campaign didnt work. Oh its just that when I vote someone in to be president I want them to actually be LOYAL to the country haha. You see The national anthem shows freedom. Would you go to a huge stadium full of people and completely disrespect their country by not showing your respect to the flag - the symbol of freedom and the symbol of my fellow soldiers blood. Its something we learned quickly in the Rotc and the army.
