"Wait, I'm confused." Livy admitted after he had tried to add the tag onto the end of the existing table code piece and he had tried adding a separate tag just for the table backround color. "Am I supposed to add a separate tag or put it in with the existing one for the border?" He asked.

"You put it in the existing one with the border. You can add lots of parameters to a tag without creating a new one. So the table tag we have right now looks like this:"
<table border="3" bgcolor="#12345">

Livy did as she instructed him to do, adding the parameter to the tag rather then creating a separate tag for that parameter. Once he clicked "Save" and then "Home" once more, he expected either the text or the background, he was sure which, would change color to a red, but it did not. Perplexed, he went back and changed the color code to one which he knew by heart, CC0000, and clicked "Save" and "Home" again, but, just as before, nothing happened.
"Code." He muttered under his breath, only mildly irritated. Next he presented what he had done.
<center><table>
<table border="3" bg color= "#CC0000">
<tr>
<td>Greetings, I am Pip</td> <td>Salutations, I am a derranged mouse</td> <td>Hi, this is a test, this is nothing but a test. If it were real it would sound like this: AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!</td> </tr>
</table></center]
And that was when he realized he had misspelled "derange".

"ok, we have a few things once again that need to be fixed. Coding is a very, very exact business, and one little space can mess everything up... as I believe you well know. Now this is what you put:"
<center><table><--Why is this table tag here? Don't you have one right below?
<table border="3" bg no space here, that was why the color wasn't goingcolor= "#CC0000">
<tr>
<td>Greetings, I am Pip</td> <td>Salutations, I am a derranged mouse</td> <td>Hi, this is a test, this is nothing but a test. If it were real it would sound like this: AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!</td> </tr>
</table></center] HTML is closed with <> not []
"My comments are in blue for you to look over. I'm not trying to be mean, just telling you what went wrong." She smilied at her student. It really was always spacing issues with him.

((ha ha))
Livy knew he had a problems with spaces, when he was a little kid learning to type and when he would run spellcheck, it would always be telling him that there was an "extra space between words". Running his slender fingers through his long dark bangs, he pushed his glasses further up onto his nose, as they had been falling down quite a bit lately.
"Right." He started. He made the necessary changes to his code and pressed "Save" and waited for a moment while the page loaded to see the results, which he was quite pleased with.
"Alright," He said, "What's next?"

"Well, let's try to finish out table tag parameters," she said, quickly making a list of all the table parameters that she could think of.
width height cellspacing cellpadding background bordercolor align bgcolor border class
"Ok, so, if you assume that these work the same way as the bgcolor parameter, I have a challenge for you. I want you to guess what all these mean and write a table tag that would contain all of them. You are free to use any resources you have around you, including the internet, to discover what they mean and how they would be used. Ready, Go!"

Livy stoppped for a moment, thinking. The width and height tags were obviousm as he thought he knew what bordercolor, bgcolor and border meant too.
"Well width and height obviously dictate the width and height of the table." He said, more to himself than to Mizukey. "Border and bordercolor must refer to the border of the table and the color of said border and I'm guessing bgcolor means backround color." He finished.
He made same necessarry code changes to the table and clicked "Save", but, once he had clicked home again, nothing happened. Deciding to focus on the tags he had picked out first, he turned to Mizu.
"Are you allowed to tell me what went wrong?" He asked, showing her to code. He had, after all, just filled in some random numbers.

<table border="3" bg color="#CC0000">
<tr>
<bordercolor=CC0000><border=2><height=4><width=3><td>Greetings, I am Pip</td> <td>Salutations, I am a derranged mouse</td> <td>Hi, this is a test, this is nothing but a test. If it were real it would sound like this: AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!</td></width></height></border></bordercolor> </tr>
</table></center>

"Well, I'm not going to tell you what you did wrong, but I will give you a hint. Think about what parameter means and how we did the first two elements. That's all I'm going to say." Mizukey said with a smile.

Livy thought for nearly four minutes before he looked up at Mizukey.
"I am utterly confused, Mizu." He admitted. "A little help, please?" He asked hopefully.
