Demy was glad when she told him not to apologize for Demyth and said that Demyth was an ass and said that he had nothing to do with it. He was glad that she wasn't angry at him for what his counterpart had done, he'd been really worried that she would be. Instead he just smiled gratefully at Violet and chuckled as she said that she wasn't a sword. He ignored Violet's protests and put the ointment on her cheek gently and then pulled away and wiped what remained of the ointment on the glass, before inspecting her cheek once again. "Tell me if it starts to feel better." He told her, a content smile on his face.
It was then that Amri stood up to fetch his sword, and without even really meaning for it to happen, Demy's eyes followed Amri and wandered down to his buttock. Demy's cheeks grew red and hot and he quickly turned away, instead looking off to his right and pretending to be interested in a random bush over there when really he was praying that his cheeks would return to their usual colour before Amri noticed._________________________________________ Words: 204 Mood: Eh. Violet nodded her head at Demy with a smile still placed on her face. "Alright, will do." She assured the man after he told her to let him know if it was feeling better. The gel on her face felt weird to her, since it was a foreign feeling. She wanted to reach up and wipe it off, but she knew she couldn't. Demy would probably be angry with her, hypothetically speaking. So, being the good girl she was, even though we know that's a lie, she didn't wipe it off.
She soon heard shuffling next to her, and knew that Amri had gotten up. "Are you alright?" She asked without looking at him. Actually, at the moment she asked, she was starting to follow Demy's eyes, until she noticed she was glancing at Amri's... behind? "Oh my!" She exclaimed as she jumped a bit and rapidly threw her gaze to the ground. "Why would he... no.. he couldn't be... is he...?" She thought to herself as she slowly looked up to see Demy's red cheeks. "He is." She thought. Where he was looking was weird, but blushing? That told it all. Demy was into Amri, which made him..... gay. Did that mean Demyth was gay too?
Violet lowered her eyes back to the ground. Wow, this was all so weird. Not to mention, it was happening so fast. Was she misinterpreting though? That's just it. She could be reading the signs wrong. But, why would he be looking at his behind and blushing? It was so confusing, and she hated being confused. She liked the feeling of knowing what was going on. One thing was for sure though, she couldn't tell Amri until she knew the truth, even though it was practically right in front of her.

"Of course I'm alright," he said plainly, he was just kind of bored. And anyway, if he wasn't feeling okay, it wasn't like he'd admit it unless he was angry. Eh, he was used to boredom. He experienced it plenty of the time, which was yet another reason why killing was so fun, it gave him something to do other than stalking around with a vicious expression...not that there was anything wrong with that, but a purpose was kind of nice to have. And this was just kind of blah...he had no idea where to start with Demy.
When he pulled Banryuu out of the ground, he heard Violet gasp and spun around to see them both acting weird. What the hell? They both seemed to be trying hard not to look at him..."Is something on my back?" he asked, at the same time putting his chin over his shoulder to see if something was there. However, the view wasn't so good, so he kept trying to look harder and in the process was spinning in a circle. He didn't think there was anything back there, but he only got a vague impression of what it looked like.
"Aw hell," he said, plopping back on the ground so they were now sitting in an equilateral triangle shape, "I don't care if there's anything on my ass." A good-natured grin was on his face, but it slowly faded away as he looked from Demy to Violet and back to Demy. Still, neither of them were looking him in the eye. God, this was annoying. Were they just ignoring him for no reason? "What's the matter with you two?" he asked, both confused and angry, seeing as though two emotions walked hand in hand.

Demy was trying hard to keep his eyes glued to the ground and not allow them to wander back up to look at Amri's ass. He shouldn't do that. It was bad. It was very bad. That was when he heard Violet gasp, however, and he looked up to see her eyes on the ground, looking surprised. As soon as she looked up and met his eyes, he knew she'd noticed where he was looking, which sent a flash of guilt through him as he opened his mouth to speak, though all that would come out was a stuttered "I-I-I," before he gave up and quickly looked down at the ground again, his cheeks still burns hot and painfully. He'd never been so embarrassed in his life...but then again, he'd never been caught staring at another man's ass, either.
He looked up as he saw Amri spinning in a circle, trying to get a look at his back. He let out a laugh before once again lowering his eyes, his cheeks still red though the colour was slowly beginning to fade, though he continuously would glance shyly up at Violet, trying to figure out whether she was angry at him or something, or at least what she thought of this new discovery. Her gasp told him that she had most probably figured it out. "No, Amri...there's nothing on your back." He said shyly, glancing up at the other man before quickly lowering his gaze to the ground once more, keeping his eyes averted. He could tell that Amri was getting a little angry, likely because he was confused, but Demy still said nothing right away. just keeping his gaze averted. "N-Nothing's the matter, Amri...r-right, Violet?" He muttered quietly, inwardly wincing each time he stuttered._________________________________________ Words: 318 Mood: Good Notes: Quick reply...sorry.

The confusion was still written on her face as Violet looked up to see Amri spinning around in a circle. This changed the tone of her look as she went from confused to laughing. It was quite funny seeing him twirl like he was. He looked like a puppy chasing it's tail. She shook her head slightly from side to side and just smiled at him for a moment before he sat down. "There is nothing on you Amri." She told him through small giggles.
Her gaze was soon placed on Demy as he spoke. She studied his facial emotions as she listened to his small sentences. She could tell he was nervous. He probably figured that she knew something about him. Maybe she was completely right about his sexuality. His studdering didn't hide the fact he was nervous either. She felt kind of bad for him though. She had made him nervous earlier when she was yelling at him, and now this. There was also the fact that, if he was gay, he was shy about it, and didn't want anyone to know.
When Amri asked what was wrong with the two of them, she looked back to him with a worried face. She didn't know what to tell him and she didn't want to just spring her discovery onto him. Then Demy spoke once more, and she looked at him. Her eyes sympathetic. If he was that way, she could tell now that he was begging her not to say anything, just by his words. Why did she have to be in this position? She was, sort of friends with Amri and knew him longer, but Demy was so innocent, and really nice considering his counterpart.
"Umm, well...." Violet started to say, looking back to Amri. She didn't really know what to say. "My cheek started to hurt." The words came out of her mouth fast. She couldn't waste time thinking up stories, he would get suspicious, and that was the first thing that came to mind. "It startled me.... Sorry." She then looked down at the ground and fiddled with her dress not knowing what would come next.

God, Demy was especially acting weird. He seemed to be embarrassed, but as far as Amri knew, he had done nothing to be embarrassed about. Had he? Amri replayed what had just happened in his mind. No...nothing out of the ordinary. Unless, maybe he was just feeling nervous because he thought Amri would get mad that his leaves made Violet hurt? Well, he didn't have to worry about that. Feeling pain was good because eventually you'd grow immune to it, like him. He hadn't felt true physical pain since God knows when, because he had faced it.
"Mmmmm," he said in response to what Violet said, not thinking something as meager as that was enough to merit a gasp like that, but then again, she was a princess, so he guessed, annoyingly, it had to be expected. At least she didn't continue to whine. Whining was a major pet peeve of his. If someone did it, he automatically didn't like them. Whining got you nowhere and made you look like a spoiled fool. People who couldn't hide their discomfort in a situation were weak. Whining to him would just guarantee that he would purposely make it worse.
He leaned back, letting the sun soak into his skin. He liked it when it was warm, though he liked it better when it was hot, but he doubted days like that happened often in this place, and warm was the best he was going to get. With nothing else better to do now that Demyth was Demy who was getting along fine with Violet, he closed his eyes. He realized he was starting to feel hungry. Hunger was no stranger to him. He was a teenage boy who was strong and very active, as such he ate the equivalent of three meals for every meal of the day, but he supposed he could ignore it for now...

Demy kept his eyes down until Violet told Amri that her cheek had started to hurt again and he looked up sharply, worried that she was serious. As soon as he realized that it wasn't true, he smiled gratefully at her, and the rest of the colour that had come up into his cheeks faded away so that he looked normal. He glanced at Amri, glad that Amri seemed to believe her and had obviously lost interest in it. Good, it was better that way. Demy never wanted Amri to know that he'd been looking at his rear. Never. Amri and Violet seemed to have a thing of some sort, which made Amri straight, and he definitely didn't want to try come between them, especially if it would only make they make him. Besides, he was ashamed that he was gay. Being gay was very bad...unnatural, even. He would hide the fact that he was gay forever if he had to.
"Yeah...that can happen, sometimes. Is it better now?" He asked Violet, going along with it. The only sign that he was still remotely uncomfortable was the way his fingers dug into the grass below him and ripped out handfuls almost absentmindedly, letting them fall between his fingers and back to the ground. Feeling more relaxed now, if only slightly, because Violet wasn't shooting him disgusted looks or whatever, he let his natural shy smile come back to his face, looking between Amri and Violet and wondering what they would talk about now._________________________________________ Words: 264 Mood: Eh Notes: Not much for him to say, sorry. Violet relaxed more when Amri believed her. This meant she had no explaining to do. It was over with. Well, for now at least, since she still had a major secret in her grasp for the time being. She stretched out her fingers and just kept her hands laying on her lap, instead of fiddling with her dress. Now that he believed her, she needed to be less suspicious, and she needed to calm down.
She took a deep breath and then slowly looked up to meet the eyes of Demy who was now looking at her. He looked like he also believed her little white lie. Not long after though, she realized that he had figured her out. He had realized she was covering for him, and when he spoke she just looked back down and tucked a small lock of hair behind her ear. "Yes, it's better. Sorry for the reaction. It was stupid." She stated, thinking about what to do next.
Everything that had just happened, stuck in her head. It was like an annoying tune that you could never get out, no matter how hard you tried. Hearing the slight pull of the grass, she lifted her head slightly, but not enough for her eyes to once again meet Demy's. She could tell he was still nervous about her new findings. She finally lifted her head again to look at him. She let her eyes wander to Amri to make sure he wasn't paying attention, and then looked back at Demy. If he kept up with this behavior, Amri would know something was wrong."It's alright Demy. Your secret is safe with me." She mouthed slowly to the man across from her. Her mouth moving, but no words escaping. She had to tell him that for now. She didn't know what she would do in the future, but right now, in the moment, she wasn't going to say anything about it. If he didn't catch what she told him, she would try something else, if anything else came to mind, to try to calm him. To top it off, she let a small and reassuring smile come across her lips.

Amri was quick to agree with her, "You're right, it was stupid, but not entirely unexpected." Why not take a chance to irritate her? It was all good fun, and he was terribly bored now that there was no conflict. Demy seemed to be the kind of person who only cared about helping his fellow man, but was also weak. So under no circumstances could Amri attack him even if Demyth wasn't hidden under there, after all, he had been the one to say superiorly that he didn't bully weaklings. That wasn't in good fun, d*** it all.
Still, what was he supposed to do? Just sit there while Demy and Violet had polite little conversations like they were having tea? Amri had never drunk tea in his life but expected if someone had tried to make him he would've have smashed those tiny little cups in their face. He wouldn't mind smashing things right now, that idea really appealed to him. But there was nothing to smash except people, people he couldn't smash. d***. You know what? If he didn't want to do this, he didn't have to. He could start his own fucking conflict!
It was then that his stomach growled, loudly. Very loudly. He screwed up his face as he looked down at it. That's right, he had forgotten to eat that day. This could cause problems. He grimaced and crossed his arms tightly, trying to ignore it and just focus on...on...what could he focus on? Maybe he could work on holding his breath for a long amount of time, yeah! So, he sucked in a breath and started holding it, until perhaps a minute later he turned purple and let it out. It was bullshit, he should practice that more often. But it didn't change the fact that he was hungry. And he had discovered it wasn't very good to focus on that either, so he satisfied himself by staring at Demy's feet.

Demy kept his eyes on the ground for the most part, not wanting to meet the eyes of either Violet or Amri. He was still really embarrassed, though his cheeks were no longer red. In his dreams he was constantly tormented by Demyth. That was another thing about him, he could never remember what Demyth did when he was in control, that worked vice versa, but Demyth was in his dreams every night. It was good some nights, and bad others, all depending on Demyth's mood at that moment. Demy knew that Demyth hated him, and would kill him were he able to, but of course he couldn't...in real life. He didn't have very good sleep when he was younger, because in his dreams Demyth would kill him, and he would wake up screaming. Demyth had long since realized that killing him in their dreams was pointless, and he'd decided that it was funner to just torment him in their dreams. However, on the rare occasion when Demy was having a nightmare or something, Demyth would be surprisingly nice, even protect him from the monster or whatever. Demy figured it was because Demyth knew how he felt during those dreams.
But anyways, back to the present. Demy looked up as Violet said that her reaction had been stupid and shook his head, but Amri beat him to replying, saying that it had been stupid. Not wanting to contradict Amri, Demy just looked away again, saying nothing. He did, however, happen to look up while Violet was mouthing that his secret was safe with her, and while it did nothing to make him feel at ease, he returned her smile. So now he didn't have to worry about her telling Amri, but she still knew, and he would still worry about what she was thinking about him everytime a guy walked by or something. He wasn't attracted to all guys, being gay didn't work that way, but lots of people were ignorant to that fact. Besides, he was horribly afraid that she would be disgusted by him now.
He looked up when Amri's stomach growled and he couldn't help but chuckle quietly. "I have no food with me, sorry." He said, though he knew that Amri hadn't asked. "You could...go into town and buy some?" He suggested, trying to be helpful. "I'll give you money if you have none." He said, grinning in a friendly manner, while inside he felt even worse now. He knew fully well that he wouldn't have offered that to just anyone. Well no, that was a lie. Were someone to ask him, he would definitely give them money. But he wouldn't have offered for just anyone. Thankfully, Violet and Amri didn't know that._________________________________________ Words: 482 Mood: Pretty d*** bad Notes: End of post soon, or something happen??
