When she scooted closer, Amri scooted away just as much, "I will not and you can't make me!" he shouted at her, sounding like a whining little kid. What was it with her wanting him to get better? If he wasn't making a big deal about it, then why was she? It made no sense. She was acting like...he supposed a mother would normally act. Of course, he wasn't really one to know. He was just basing it and what he had heard said around. Weren't mothers supposed to be like that?
She told him he couldn't get rid of it, and he cursed himself inside. He needed to be rid of it, desperately. What if someone else ever found out? Someone he couldn't kill with one swipe? The thought made him shudder. He never ever wanted to appear weak, and this made him so. Stopping drinking wasn't an option, as much as he would've liked to think it was. It was one thing he couldn't stop, addiction...that was what it was called. He had it to alcohol, but he still needed to find a way to get rid of it.
"Fine," he said when she asked him about his past, "it's not like it's a big secret or anything." He paused to take a breath. His words were true, many people where he had come from knew his story. "You could say I wasn't supposed to be here. My mother was raped by a warrior. She didn't care about me, and I didn't care about her. It didn't really make an impact when she died...I was, I think seven. No one wanted to take me in, cause back home they think I'm a curse, cause I have blue eyes, even though both my parents were from around there. I didn't care, I didn't need help to survive." he paused again to smile at a particularly good memory, "I killed my first person when I was twelve. Heh...I still remember the look on his face after I chopped off his head. I liked it and decided that it was what I wanted to do, so I became a mercenary and went wherever the wars were. I've been pretty much everywhere, and then I heard there were about a million wars here, and so here I am."
He leaned over and dragged Banryuu to him, out of instinct more than anything. It had been made for him when he was thirteen. The blacksmith hadn't believed him when he had asked for so large a weapon. In revenge for underestimating him, that man had been Banryuu's first victim. He was sure the great halberd remembered it with as much fondness as Amri looked back on his.
"And let me guess," Amri said, suddenly sounding cold, "You're a pretty little princess whose always been a pretty little princess who will continue to be a pretty little princess for the rest of your pretty little life?"

Violet raised an eyebrow at him. "You're acting like a five year old." She stated looking away from him. Maybe he didn't just act like that when he was drunk. Maybe he had moments, when he didn't realize that he was acting that way. She looked into the forest as a bird flew up into its nest, its home. She hoped she would be able to go home soon.
She listened carefully as he told her about his past. A frown took a hold of her face as soon as he talked about what happened to his mom. His past was horrible, but it told her a lot about his personality. It also helped her understand why he had acted the way he did in the bar. At least to her knowledge.
Violet was just about to tell him what might be wrong, when he made a smart ass comment. She glared at him and quickly stood up. "You know what? Yes, I have been a princess my whole life, but that doesn't mean anything!" She snapped. "I have to worry about being attacked every minute, and I have to worry about my family members being assassinated! Being a princess is not all about having glamorous things and being higher than people! Even though I wish it was! I don't like my cousin, but I don't want him to die!"
She walked a short distance away. "You know what? I'm tired and I want to go home. I actually think I know what is wrong with you, but you're an asshole so figure it out for yourself! You might need me, but I don't care anymore! Goodbye Amri!" She said before she turned on her heels and started to walk away.

He pouted slightly. He wasn't acting like a five-year-old, at least not the five-year-old he had been. He could barely remember those times. All that really came up was the sound of his mother's constant crying and the look of fear she would give him, even as an infant. She had been a weak woman, so Amri had always figured he had taken more to his father, and that was why she had hated him so. But his blue eyes were completely a mystery, and unheard of for a native Arabian. Maybe he was a curse. He smirked at the thought; a monster that could never be stopped.
Ah, so now she was yelling at him, that was to be expected, and so he he just continued smirking as she did so. He didn't care about what she was saying. All she was talking about was worrying, not about actually doing things that were difficult, a case in point for him. Anyway, he was used to girls yelling at him. They made their own category. Of course, it had never gotten to him, and it never would. It would take more than a few loudly-spoken words to change him around.
She said that she was leaving, and surprisingly, he didn't care. He just leaned back onto a tree, "Asshole? Believe me, I've been called much worse." He temporarily forgot that he had been using her and strived only to irritate her further. He closed his eyes and sighed. He would not be going after her. She hadn't been of any help anyway, and she was probably bluffing anyway. If it turned out he needed her again, he could always just go and get her. He wasn't afraid of any Scoalite guards, not would they be any challenge to take down, he was sure. "Bye bye, now."
